Lightweight, supra-aural (on-ear) design, the Sennheiser HD 219 headphones have ear pads are amply cushioned, as is the underside of the headband, and the frame rests gently on both the ears and scalp, making this pair ideal for long listening sessions - conference interpretation, silent meetings or listening to audio description.
The closed-back design helps reduce background noise while minimising unwanted escape of the playback audio from the headphone. The earcups fold down flat for stacking in storage. The vinyl pads and hard plastic parts may be sanitised with alcohol wipes.
